Muskegon-area committee recommends another double-digit increase to wholesale sewer rate MLive.com
Utility Financial Systems, the consulting firm that conducted the system's rate study, proposed a five-year rate track, calling for a 22-percent hike for 2012 and 6.4-percent increases each of the next four years.
County Wastewater staff recommended a 21.5-percent increase this year.
