Court rules in favor of state in welfare cutoff lawsuit MLive.com
A federal judge today ruled in favor of the Department of Human Services in a lawsuit that sought to stop the cutoff of cash welfare benefits for some 11,162 people in the state who've exceeded the 48-month time limit.
