Detroit, Hamtramck, Highland Park, Pontiac, Port Huron, Flint, Lansing, Grand Rapids, Saginaw, Battle Creek, Albion, Jackson, Muskegon, Muskegon Heights, Grayling, Big Rapids, Ionia, Lapeer, Springfield (Calhoun County), Portland,(Ionia County), Walker (Kent County) and Hudson (Lenawee County). Living or working in one of these communities doesn't affect your state income tax rate.
