The association agreed to pay 20 percent of the cost of the road resurfacing project up to $50,000, according to the agreement unanimously approved by city commissioners.
The total project cost will be more than $225,000 with engineering, design and inspection costs included, city officials said.
“We can justify paving the Harbour Towne streets because we don’t have people knocking down our doors asking to help pay for such projects,” City Manager Bryon Mazade said.
