$15 million Southwest Detroit development gets planning help from Michigan Municipal League | MLive.com: "DETROIT, MI - A 60,000-square-foot development meant to be the linchpin of the Vernor Highway corridor is getting a technical boost from PlacePlans, an effort by the Michigan Municipal League and Michigan State University.
Now in its second round, PlacePlans, which is supported by the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) and Gov. Rick Snyder's MIplace Partnership, is intended to help communities plan and develop "transformative placemaking projects."
