Maybe they could change the name of the airport to "N. Tampa Airport"? ---Emptier skies, higher fares at Detroit Metro Airport

Michigan Traveler: Emptier skies, higher fares at Detroit Metro Airport | Detroit Free Press | freep.com:
"Since 2005, Metro has lost 22% of its domestic passenger flights, 27% of available seats on planes — and fares have surged 34%."

■ Airlines are concentrating on flying when travelers most want to travel — in the daytime. While Thanksgiving week may seem swamped, on many nights, passengers flying into the McNamara or North terminals after 9:30 p.m. could roll a bowling ball down the terminal aisles and not hit anyone.
