I have to share with you my favorite. I watch it over and over. It’s a typical house committee meeting. During the hearing, Rep Hank Johnson – a Democrat from Georgia, expresses concern, genuine concern that having more US troops on the island of Guam could cause it to tip over. This is not a joke. First, he debates a military commander – for more than a minute – about the actual dimensions of the island territory, then he asks the same commander if the island could “capsize.” He is reassured that no, definitely not will Guam capsize.
