CaptureIn 2010, Americans went to the polls and elected a whole crop of new governors — 26 in all, if you count the election of governors who had previously served non-consecutive terms in Iowa and Oregon. 
Election results varied from state to state, but the overall voice of the people that year — the great Tea Party midterm — was calling for a more limited and less intrusive government.
