Federally funded 'food hub' study to examine how Muskegon can boost local produce supply | MLive.com:
A collection of consultants will assess how the region can change this reality when it begins a seven-month-long feasibility study in October that will center on creating a regional food hub in Muskegon.
The study will be funded in part by a $30,375 U.S. Department of Food & Agriculture business grant awarded to the Community Foundation for Muskegon County in July.
Consumers Energy will supplement the award by issuing a matching grant,
