"DEARBORN — A Detroit-area human services agency will announce this coming week that it has received a $12 million grant from the federal government.
The ACCESS Youth and Education Department plans to host a news conference on Tuesday to discuss the details of the money it's getting from the U.S. Department of Education for its 21st Century Community Learning Centers.
The centers are expected to expand into a number of southeastern Michigan schools and impact hundreds of K-12 students.
The event Tuesday will be held at ACCESS in Dearborn.
ACCESS was founded as the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services."
