"While TPNN earlier reported that a KFC has banned hand wipes because they might offend Muslim customers, and even as Subway simultaneously runs very “pro-bacon” ads that may be infuriating to the religion responsible for most terrorism around the globe, Subway is succumbing to pressure to not offend those adhering to Islamic law.In the UK, which housed around 1,500 Subway restaurants, the chain has announced that they will remove ham and bacon from almost 200 outlets, the Daily Mail reports, and they will prepare all meat according to “halal” Islamic rules, meaning that the meat is processed in a way that is “permitted” or “lawful” as defined by the Koran."
