If the crack team at Snopes had just simply used a search engine, they would have found that a left-leaning website, Slate.com had already tackled the subject of post-birth abortions. 

In fact, the professors in question wrote an academic journal in the Journal of Medical Ethics. Their thesis came down to this one sentence: "

“There is nothing magical about passing through the birth canal that transforms it from a fetus into a person.” 
Read that again. 
And again. 
...The democrats' stand is much more ominous. They want you and I to accept the notion that a child is not a person until age 5.

Now you've got fully sourced proof of liberal academics supporting the outright murder of children. 

If that's not enough to give you the chills, then consider this.  

In testimony before Congressional committee, Planned Parenthood employee Alisa LaPolt Snow was asked point blank: 

“If a baby is born on a table as a result of a botched abortion, what would Planned Parenthood want to have happen to that child that is struggling for life?” 
She replied: “We believe that any decision that’s made should be left up to the woman, her family, and the physician.”

Jaws in the committee room dropped. Asked again, she repeated her answer.
