What could possibly go wrong?-----Arab-American Civil Rights Course at U-M Dearborn Will Be First in Nation

Arab-American Civil Rights Course at U-M Dearborn Will Be First in Nation –  Deadline Detroit: "Beginning this fall, attorney Fatina Abdrabboh, director of the the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC), will teach a course at the University of Michigan-Dearborn titled Arab-American Civil Rights.
It's the first of its kind nationally, Samer Hijazi of the Arab American News reports.
Abdrabboh will incorporate lessons from her work as a civil rights leader to help students understand about local, regional, and national civil rights and the evolution of the role of Arab Americans in U.S. in the last century.
“With the rich culture of Dearborn, which is home to a large population of Arabs outside of the Arab world, this course will not only offer insight into the state of civil rights but also empower students by providing them with exposure to the forces that drive anti-Arab and anti-Muslim racism in this country,” Abdrabboh tells the paper.  "
