Jake and Josie Hook Up Drunk. Does Josie Rape Jake?

Jake and Josie Hook Up Drunk. Does Josie Rape Jake?
Jake and JosieThis poster about the new “yes means yes” consent laws has allegedly been showing up on college campuses (Redditor: The blurry part says Coastal Carolina University, I cannot find any mentions of this poster actually being real though. It’s possible they took a lot of flak for it and pulled it, or I just can’t google)
In summation: the poster presupposed “Jake” to be a rapist.
Why? Because two college kids were drunk and two college kids hooked up. This begs the question: how was Josie the only one who could not consent to sex… but Jake could?
If a woman who is intoxicated can not give consent to sex, how can a man? Why is only one of them a rapist?
It’s almost as if leftists pushing the “rape culture” talking point aren’t actually concerned with combating sexual assault at all. It’s almost as though they’re more concerned with using sexual assault as another divisive issue to play Americans off of each other in order to push a political agenda. Because you can’t have an honest disagreement with “affirmative consent” or even just this poster.  If you disagree with the premise, you are pro-rape and a rape apologist, who is most likely also sexist and trying to hold back Hillary Clinton from crashing through the glass ceiling #YesAllWomen.
At least Reddit is calling BS, and making some interesting points (at least, the ones we can repeat):
What happens if two gay dudes get drunk and have sex? Are they both charged with rape?
Neither would be charged. According to the poster, only women can’t give consent while drunk.
If two drunk lesbians have sex, were they both raped?
They were both the rapist and rape victim. It cancels out, its simple math.
I mean potential energy is just as important as kinetic energy, right? The potential to rape is just as important as actual rape, right? They’re practically the same thing.
So does this mean that as a woman, I’m no longer accountable for anything I do once I’m drunk? Because there are definitely some illegal things I wanted to try. Also, DUI’s? I guess those don’t exist either then, since we’re on the “blame it on the alcohol” train here.
Rape is a serious crime and rapists are the lowest form of life.
Combating rape is a serious issue for serious people to take seriously.
The sad thing is, the people who designed and are promoting this poster think it’s serious and that they’re serious people.
The only thing they’re doing is a serious disservice to rape victims. And that’s no joke.
