"Climate change alarmists often talk about the dire need to solve the world’s global warming “crisis.” If we don’t act soon, they claim, the world will face disasters unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. “Trust us,” they say. “This is science. Don’t be a ‘science denier.'” Admittedly, I once “trusted” the “consensus” that global warming is being caused by humans and will soon be catastrophic. Over time, however, as many of the predictions made by the alarmists failed to come true, I became increasingly skeptical of their claims. ...Below is one example I recently came across that’s particularly laughable. Enjoy."
“A senior environmental official at the United Nations, Noel Brown, says entire nations could be wiped off the face of the earth by rising sea levels if global warming is not reversed by the year 2000. Coastal flooding and crop failures would create an exodus of ‘eco-refugees,’ threatening political chaos, said Brown, director of the New York office of the U.N. Environment Program. He said governments have a 10-year window of opportunity to solve the greenhouse effect before it goes beyond human [control.]”
