Harvard student newspaper urges ‘cap on privilege’

Harvard student newspaper urges ‘cap on privilege’ - EAGnews.org
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – According to the Harvard Crimson, there should be a “cap on privilege.”
Oh, and the black governor is engaging in population control.
acknowledge your privilegeEditorial writer Tez M. Clark opines in a piece with the subtitle “White Noise:”
This summer, Massachusetts Governor Deval L. Patrick ‘78 rather surreptitiously signed a bill that nominally will cut down on welfare fraud. The practical consequences of this bill for Massachusetts’s lower-income families are severe. It will narrow the disability requirements for welfare recipients, and force women to work into their third trimester of pregnancy.
These new obstacles are only additions to an already harsh welfare program, which is funded by Temporary Aid for Needy Families, a federal block grant created in 1996. TANF is allocated to states, primarily for the purposes of funding welfare and was instituted by the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act. One of the components of TANF is a family cap, which financially penalizes families for having children while on TANF by refusing to provide for newer children when calculating benefits.
“In essence, family caps are a way of reducing reproduction based on class,” she says.
In other words, Patrick – a black man – is engaging in population control “based on class.”

Democrats in Michigan and Georgia Engage in Elaborate Scheme to Steal the Election

Democrats in Michigan and Georgia Engage in Elaborate Scheme to Steal the Election | RedState: "According to Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp, “Preliminary investigation has revealed significant illegal activities’ including forged voter registration applications, forged signatures on releases, and applications with false or inaccurate information.”
The Secretary of State’s office had been contacted by counties around the state with irregularities stemming from the New Georgia Project.
I am told through a separate source that employees at the organization were told they’d be fired if they did not meet certain quotas.
Consequently, they had every incentive to make stuff up.
But it is not just Georgia.

In Michigan, it appears the state’s Democratic Party may be involved in a similar scheme. “The Michigan elections bureau has issued a warning about problems with a new Democratic Party program that lets voters apply online for absentee ballots, saying clerks are getting applications for voters who live outside the jurisdiction and signatures that do not match voter records.”
Signatures, by law, have to match the applications and the voter registration cards.
Those signatures must be verified.
But the Democrats are employing a touch screen system that makes this virtually impossible. Likewise, a bunch of people seem to be registered who do not live in the right places — or live at all.
I suspect this is a more widespread problem nationwide.
It is just a reminder that if you care about voter fraud you need to vote for a Republican for Secretary of State.
The Democrats give lip service to it, but are now in two states actively working to undermine voter integrity.
Oh and yes, the Democrats are playing the race card in response."

The story is how the media is ignoring this REAL attempt to keep voters from the polls-----Malevolent Billionaire Announces Voter Suppression Scheme

Malevolent Billionaire Announces Voter Suppression Scheme:
"A billionaire Democrat donor announces a scheme for suppressing Republican votes.
Does anyone care?
San Francisco offshore hedge fund billionaire Tom Steyer is the biggest donor in American politics by a country mile.
As of the most recent round of disclosures, he had contributed $42,725,000 to elect Democrats, which is more than the top 31 Republican donors—combined. So of course when the Arlington-based liberal blog Politico obtained a Steyer strategy memo last month, they headlined their story “Memo: Value in anti-Koch attacks” and completely ignored the shocking voter suppression strategy advocated by Steyer’s top political hand, Chris Lehane."
....Back to the memo:
memo3Just imagine for a moment the wailing and gnashing of teeth if a memo from a billionaire conservative donor announced a “Democrat Haircut Strategy” to use smears and false attacks to depress Democratic turnout.
The Steyer strategy is just that: use his billions to muddy the waters with vicious, unsubstantiated attacks in the hopes of depressing Republican turnout.
And Politico had this story a month ago, but wrote another article attacking the Kochs instead.

Holi crapoli! 44% of the new state budget is "free money" from the federal government!!!-----Schauer Jobs Plan Pricetag: $3.7 Billion

Schauer Jobs Plan Pricetag: $3.7 Billion [Michigan Capitol Confidential]:
"At a time when state spending has reached a record high, proposals in a "Jobs Blueprint” posted on Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mark Schauer’s website would increase it by about $3.7 billion, according to an analysis by the Mackinac Center for Public Policy.
The extra money would go to public schools, universities, community colleges, film subsidies, state revenue sharing payments to local governments, higher unemployment benefits, universal pre-school programs and more.
Schauer offers few details on how he would pay for the increases beyond non-specific suggestions like “cut wasteful spending to save taxpayer dollars,” "review state contracts" and “make government more efficient and effective.”
The new spending would be added to the latest state budget which is a record $30.04 billion according to the Senate Fiscal Agency.
It is $53.29 billion when federal dollars are included, also a record.
New records were also set in last year’s budget."

JustOneMinute: Obama Disappointed (Again) By Clunky Big Government Fail (Again):
"I have lost track of the number of times we have read that Obama is shocked to learn that big bureaucracies can be clumsy and plagued by poor communication, but I welcome some reminders in the comments;
offhand, the Secret Service,
the HealthCare.fail rollout and
the VA spring to mind,
but I also recall he learned about the IRS and
Fast and Furious by careful reading of his daily newspapers.
My advice to Team Obama - encourage the Big Guy to take a look around.
If he sees a playing field and thousands of screaming fans then he is probably in a luxury skybox somewhere and yes, he is free to cheer and boo like any other spectator.
But if he sees a famous desk and slightly curved walls, then he is probably in the Oval Office and might want to remember that he is Chief Executive of the United States and is notionally responsible for the many bureaucracies he purportedly leads."

Here’s an Astonishing List of What the Federal Government Funded INSTEAD of Developing an Ebola Vaccine…:
"In an astonishing new report from The Washington Free Beacon, it seems that our government’s priorities have been out-of-whack for some time. While Ebola loomed, our government spent money that could be used to develop an Ebola vaccine to develop origami condoms and study obese lesbians.
In a tremendous bit of reporting, The Washington Free Beacon details the amazingly-absurd expenditures that took priority over developing a vaccine: "

Socialists Push For $20 Minimum Wage But Won’t Pay Workers That Much

Socialists Push For $20 Minimum Wage But Won’t Pay Workers That Much - Hit & Run : Reason.com:
The Freedom Socialist Party wants the minimum wage to be $20 an hour.
However, they don't feel compelled to compensate their own workers with that kind of cash.
The party is looking for a web developer, and posted a job listing on Craigslist a week ago and Indeed.com yesterday, and it's been raising eyebrows on social media.
Although the average annual salary of a web developer in the U.S. is around $62,500, the Freedom Socialist Party only wants to pay $13 an hour, which would be $26,000 a year. Except that the party won't hire someone full-time, so their next web developer's total compensation won't even be that modest chunk of change. Perhaps they're just trying to protect their employees from the temptations of "capitalist greed."
In case it vanishes or gets amended, the entire listing is below:

PC Fail: Wellesley students reject transgender student for leadership position

PC Fail: Wellesley students reject transgender student for leadership position
It what has to be one of the greatest examples of the twisted “logic” of political correctness, a transgender student at Wellesley College has been roundly shunned for a school leadership position.
Timothy Boatwright was born a female, and indicated such when he applied for admission to Wellesley.
But after arrival on campus, he introduced himself as a “’masculine-of-center genderqueer’ person named ‘Timothy,’” and asked that folks use male pronouns when referring to him.
This wasn’t an issue … until the day Timothy decided to run for the position of multicultural affairs coordinator.
Katherine Timpf at National Review Online reports:
… some students thought that allowing Boatwright to have the position would just perpetuate patriarchy. They were so opposed, in fact, that when the other three candidates (all women of color) dropped out, they started an anonymous Facebook campaign encouraging people not to vote at all to keep him from winning the position.
“I thought he’d do a perfectly fine job, but it just felt inappropriate to have a white man there,” the student behind the so-called “Campaign to Abstain” said.
“It’s not just about that position either,” the student added. “Having men in elected leadership positions undermines the idea of this being a place where women are the leaders.”

Pedophilia Deserves Civil Rights, Says New York Times' Op-Ed

Pedophilia Deserves Civil Rights, Says New York Times' Op-Ed | The Daily Caller

The nation’s tough anti-pedophilia laws are unfair to pedophiles, according to an op-ed published by The New York Times’ editors.
“One can live with pedophilia and not act on it,” says Margo Kaplan, an entrepreneurial assistant law professor at Rutgers University, and a former lawyer for the American Civil Liberties Union.
Tragically, the roughly 1 percent of “people who are sexually attracted to children] must hide their disorder from everyone they know — or risk losing educational and job opportunities, and face the prospect of harassment and even violence,” she wrote.
Kaplan is trying to make a legal career in the regulation of expanding sexual diversity, instead of routine and lower-status practice areas, such as torts, probate, crime or copyrights. She’s focused on “legal limitations on intimate decisions, particularly the use of criminal law in areas of health and sexuality,” according to her web page.
Kaplan says criminal law should be changed so that pedophiles are only stigmatized or denied jobs if law school graduates agree that they pose a “direct threat” to children.

Support BDS? Yes! Condemn ISIS? Nope!

Support BDS? Yes! Condemn ISIS? Nope!:
The National Union of Students (NUS) in the United Kingdom has decided not to condemn the radical Islamist group ISIS for fear that it would be dubbed “Islamophobic.”
However, in August of this year, the NUS voted to support the BDS movement. That’s the “Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions” movement … of Israel.
Students put forward a motion at the body’s National Executive Council meeting calling for the condemnation of terrorist atrocities and support for the Iraqi people.
But the call was defeated after a rebellion led by Black Students Officer Malia Bouattia, who said the motion was merely a ‘justification for war’.
[A student responded,] ‘If the vast majority of Muslim students in the UK are in fact repeatedly standing up and telling you that they don’t like ISIS, that these terrorists don’t represent their faith, that they don’t want to be associated with them in any way – then how exactly is not condemning ISIS helping to fight Islamophobia?’
But … Malia Bouattia led a team who either abstained or voted against the proposal, leading to the motion’s defeat.
She said: ‘We recognise that condemnation of ISIS appears to have become a justification for war and blatant Islamaphobia.
‘This rhetoric exacerbates the issue at hand and in essence is a further attack on those we aim to defend.
‘The NUS Black Students’ Campaign stands in support of Black communities across the globe and uncompromisingly against imperialism and Western interference which history shows all too often leads to the suffering of Black people.
