Real Scandals The Trump-Obsessed Media Are Ignoring | Stock News & Stock Market Analysis - IBD
"Media Bias:
As news outlets dissect every new crumb in the alleged Trump-Russia-collusion scandal, they're largely ignoring other, very troubling scandals that happen to involve the previous administration.
Image result for obama scandalsSo far, and no doubt to the disappointment of many Trump haters, the Russia scandal has been going nowhere fast.
Eleven months of investigating has so far turned up no hard evidence that there was any collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia to interfere with the November elections.
While that scandal drags on, however, several others have taken surprising turns.
Not that you'd know it from the coverage these are getting from the mainstream press.

  • Unmasking Scandal: On Monday, Judicial Watch announced that it hit a dead end in its effort to dig out information about why White House advisor Susan Rice ordered an "unmasking" of Trump campaign officials in classified reports. In response to Judicial Watch's April 4 request for materials related to these unmasking requests — to determine whether they were politically motivated — the National Security Council said it had sent all those records to Obama's presidential library, where they can't be released for five years...
  • Loretta Lynch Scandal: Despite blanket coverage of James Comey's testimony about his firing by Trump, few noted the bombshell Comey dropped about Obama's attorney general, Loretta Lynch, who, Comey said, pressured him to downplay the significance of the FBI's investigation into Hillary Clinton's reckless handling of classified emails on her private server. Comey said Lynch told him to call it a "matter," not an investigation...
  • NSA Spying Scandal: In late May, Circa News published a truly bombshell report about how the National Security Agency had been conducting illegal searches on American citizens for years, "routinely violat(ing) American privacy protections while scouring through overseas intercepts." In addition, the administration "failed to disclose the extent of the problems until the final days before Donald Trump was elected president last fall..."

"...One hundred years ago, nearly 90 percent white Baltimore saw the construction of the city’s water infrastructure, which is still in use today.
In 70 percent black Baltimore, best estimates show at least 16 percent of city’s residents get free water…
Of course, the city is 70 percent black today, and losing citizens (it’s white population is below 25 percent and dropping) on a daily basis.
With this new black majority, comes hilarious challenges only possible when a white majority is absent, namely the ability to provide sustain a first world quality of life.
You see, the new black majority (just like in Flint, Michigan) believes potable water is not just a right, but one that should be free..."

Jason Riley: Obama Presidency, Black "Political Saviors" Haven't Paid Off For Black Community | Video | RealClearPolitics:
"Wall Street Journal columnist and conservative commentator Jason Riley talks about his new book, False Black Power, and how black political power hasn't done much to move the needle for the black community.
From Riley's appearance on the Monday broadcast of FOX & Friends:
JASON RILEY: Since the 1960's, the civil rights leadership has really been focused on electing more black officials.
And the thinking was that that would bring up blacks socio-economically. Just put more blacks in office.
STEVE DOOCY, FOX & FRIENDS: Because white leaders were racist toward blacks?
JASON RILEY: Well, yes, and that political power would lead to black gains economically and socially. Obama's presidency was really the culmination of that strategy.
And I thought it would be a good time to look back and see well, what happened to the black masses so to speak in the Obama years? ...
These are two areas where the gap increased under Obama:

  • The white-black disparity among home ownership and
  • household incomes was another area where we saw iniquities grow under the first black president. Something you probably didn't expect to see.

There were other areas.
Poverty, and educational attainment and so forth that sort of flat lined.
There wasn't much movement at all.
But the point is that even Obama as president was unable to close a lot of these racial gaps that we've seen for decades.
And I think the lesson here is that black political power is not going to be enough in and of itself to close these gaps.
Political clout is not what blacks are lacking.
That is not the basis for these iniquities we see today.
And political solutions aren't necessarily what blacks need or low-income blacks in particular.
STEVE DOOCY: If it isn't power, what is it?
JASON RILEY: I think really what we are talking about are attitudes and behaviors, cultural traits. I think cultural capital, social capital, human capital.
What economists call human capital is really what's lacking particularly among low-income blacks.
The development of human capital is really going to be the basis of closing these gaps. It's not going to be political saviors.

Prof. on White 'Inhuman Assholes': 'Let Them Fucking Die'
"Mere days after a Bernie Sanders supporter shot Congressman Steve Scalise and two black members of his police detail, a Connecticut professor posted a Medium article on Facebook declaring: "Let Them F*cking Die."
PhotoThe professor went on to write that white people are "inhuman a**holes" who still prop up a "white supremacy system," so black people should not help them if their lives are in danger.

How should the allegedly oppressed "end this now"?

Massive Russian collusion, but not by Trump

Massive Russian collusion, but not by Trump:

"Is it just me, or is everyone missing the biggest, most mind-boggling part of the never-ending “Trump-Russia collusion” drama?

Image result for communist symbolI’m talking about something more troubling than ex-FBI chief James Comey being one of the biggest leakers, or his refusing for months to inform Americans that Donald Trump was never under FBI investigation – while capitulating to Obama AG Loretta Lynch’s demand that he hide the fact that Hillary Clinton was under investigation. I’m talking about something more absurd than an investigation lasting almost a year – entirely without evidence of a crime!

Let’s set aside all the deceit, demagoguery and mass hysteria associated with the left’s ongoing campaign to overturn Trump’s election by endlessly accusing him of “colluding with the Russians,” and consider the biggest scandal of all:

For the past 100 years, it’s the left that has been continually “colluding with the Russians.”"

What to do with a broken Illinois: Dissolve the Land of Lincoln - Chicago Tribune

What to do with a broken Illinois: Dissolve the Land of Lincoln - Chicago Tribune:
"llinois is like Venezuela now, a fiscally broken state that has lost its will to live, although for the moment, we still have enough toilet paper.
But before we run out of the essentials, let's finally admit that after decade upon decade of taxing and spending and borrowing, Illinois has finally run out of other people's money.
John Kass's modest proposal for the dissolution of Illinois: Carve up the failed state and let the rest of the Midwest have it.Those "other people" include taxpayers who've abandoned the state.
And now Illinois faces doomsday.
So as the politicians meet in Springfield this week for another round of posturing and gesturing and blaming, we need a plan.
And here it is:
Dissolve Illinois.
Decommission the state, tear up the charter, whatever the legal mumbo-jumbo, just end the whole dang thing.
We just disappear.
With no pain.
That's right.
You heard me.
The best thing to do is to break Illinois into pieces right now.
Just wipe us off the map.
Cut us out of America's heartland and let neighboring states carve us up and take the best chunks for themselves...."

State of Hostilities

By Tammy Derouin

We have entered a very dark time in American history. Some have referred to our current state of hostilities as our second Civil War. For the most part it has been a battle of ideology rather than a battle with weapons. However, after the deliberate targeting of Senate Republicans on a baseball field, the uncertainty of our future weighs heavily on my mind.

Image result for Gettysburg BattlefieldWe survived our first Civil War, but the death toll and devastation was enormous. The reconstruction of our nation was not an easy path. For those who survived, the wounds were deep. In many cases it would take decades if not lifetimes to heal. As the 1960's marked the 100th anniversary of Civil War battles and victories, a battle for civil rights was underway. Ideology and assassinations would define the turbulent decade.

Our foundation, everything which has made us a free and independent nation, is under attack, including our God. Is it any wonder our God-given rights are being twisted into some sort of political privilege; afforded only to those who follow the political Left. Without God, our rights do not exist. Without God, we move closer and closer to a land of men rather than a land of law. Do we really want our rights to be determined by man, where they can be granted and denied at will? By the way, your life is now expendable if you do not agree with the Left. Death is becoming the called upon solution to eliminate Left-wing opposition. The dangers of rule-by-man, is that one day you too may be on the opposite side of the party line. If you are cheering today, odds are, you will be in fear tomorrow.

This is supposed to be the land of the free, where each individual has their God-given right to believe and live as he wishes. But, in today's reality, Americans are openly being targeted and condemned by fellow Americans if they do not agree with the political Left.......
