Superintendent quitting to help district save money: "The superintendent of the cash-strapped Galesburg-Augusta Community Schools says he’s stepping down to save the district money — and hopefully save some teachers’ jobs.
Eric Palmu announced Monday he’ll resign later this year from his $93,000-a-year job."
