GOP rivals in governor's race say Mike Bouchard's announcement of Terri Lynn Land as running mate indicates campaign is 'struggling'
"In a move that strikes GOP rivals as either gimmick or desperation, Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard insists to the contrary: Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land is the perfect teammate for the 2010 gubernatorial race.
'I realized I don't have a short list,' Bouchard said Wednesday in Grand Rapids, speaking of prospective candidates for lieutenant governor. 'I have one person on the list.'"

Interesting fact is Bouchard is on Hoekstra's short list for running mate... after Pete wins the primary.
