"TEDx Muskegon organizers will have a 'brown bag lunch' meeting Wednesday and Aug. 18 to teach the community about the upcoming Sept. 20 event in Muskegon.
TEDx is a community-based, independent organization associated with the global TED initiatives. The local TEDx group will have their first confernce at the Freauthal Theater Sept. 20 with a thrive Muskegon theme.
To learn more about the TED experience and how it is coming to Muskegon, organizers will meet with interested citizens Wednesday from noon-1 p.m. at the Grand Valley State University Michigan Alternative and Renewable Energy Center, 200 Viridian along Muskegon Lake. Another lunch session is planned for the same time and place Aug. 18."
