I also attended the Occupy Muskegon "organizational? meeting"
Everything is supposed to be done by consensus, where everyone raises their hands and wiggles their fingers when a "wonderful" suggestion is made. Things like tax the rich, get rid of the military, get corporate money out of politics (no mention of union money). When people raised their hands and wiggled their fingers it reminded me of doing the "hokey pokey" when I was a kid. Yes they wrote all the suggestions of what to do on a board, and then the leaders huddled together and a "consensus" was announded and what would be done first. This blogger mentioned at least they weren't led by a dictator. No dictator is needed when those following are like blind sheep. Everyone also spoke in short phrases so the crowd could repeat the words out loud (a little strange) I just might attend another Occupy Muskegon get together for entertainment purposes only :> PS I did see one creature there that must have felt like I did. A small Pekingese dog peeed on the sidewalk and every one kind of wandered around walking through the puddle.

You should have attended today. There was quite a bit of discussion about the very subject you mentioned.

More importantly, you could also freely add your input and make suggestions yourself. You don't have to be an outsider in this process.
