Forget global warming - it's Cycle 25 we need to worry about (and if NASA scientists are right the Thames will be freezing over again)

Forget global warming - it's Cycle 25 we need to worry about (and if NASA scientists are right the Thames will be freezing over again) Mail Online
The supposed ‘consensus’ on man-made global warming is facing an inconvenient challenge after the release of new temperature data showing the planet has not warmed for the past 15 years.
The figures suggest that we could even be heading for a mini ice age to rival the 70-year temperature drop that saw frost fairs held on the Thames in the 17th Century.
Based on readings from more than 30,000 measuring stations, the data was issued last week without fanfare by the Met Office and the University of East Anglia Climatic Research Unit.
It confirms that the rising trend in world temperatures ended in 1997.

Why do people ignore the reality given to them, and insist on a completely different outcome?

The answer usually is "money".

I wish we could make this event at MCC tonite, however we will be up north near Traverse.

Wish I could attend. It looks like it would be fun. Climate change because of carbon buildup in our atmosphere is not our most pressing problem. All these windmills being installed are slowing down the rotation speed of the Earth through wind resistance being transferred to the planet. The plants are not going to like it when the days get longer and the negotiations with the unions to adapt working hours with the longer days will take forever. We must act now. Only I have the answer to resolve this issue. Send me your money and I'll get started. It might already be too late.
