Michelle,

First and foremost, thank you for opening up a forum to discuss this very difficult topic within America. I am a 38 year old white male that lives in the Mid-Atlantic States, Pennsylvania to be exact. I was raised mostly on military bases until my high shool years and truly never saw or heard of bigotry, racial hatred, etc...until I got into high school in Harrisburg, PA. To be honest, I was disgusted, and completely hurt for everyone on all sides of the table once I found things out.

It was not until my Senior year that it smacked me sqaure in the face (literally) when I went to the local Harrisburg Mall to pick my grandmother up from work. On the way out, I was confronted by 6 black youth ranging from 17-22 years of age; I was 17 at the time. They started to yell racial slurs at me without provocation, and then after a few seconds yelled - "This is for Rodney King". Hmmm, ok we are both educated and understand that the unfortunate incident with Mr. King happened in LA which is in California. I was living in Pennsylvania and not even out of high school. That night I was severely beaten and found myself in the intensive care unit for all but a month to recover from internal bleeding, and other major issues. Not a very easy thing to forget.

For about a year or so after this, I was deeply angry toward the black population due to this senseless and unjustified beating. As the time wore on during that year my feelings changed back to how I had been and have hated myself for "lumping" an entire race into one basket due to the actions of 6 people.

Having said all of this to you. Your words, albeit in anger and you being passionate does NOT give you or anyone the right to openly or evenly behind closed doors use that tone or hateful language. While I agree with you after whatching your videos multiple times just to make sure I understood your tone and purpose, you are not asking anyone to pick up a gun and enforce the "Bounty" on George Zimmerman. You have also stated in your followup interview thatthe "average" person should know your purpose of the message.

Please take a step back with me and let us agree on something. There is no "Average" person anymore and no "Average" understanding of anything. Anything and everything that one says, you, me, POTUS etc... needs to stipulate their expectations from their statements. Otherwise, we will have the radical leftists, or radical rightists do what they do...cause more problems between our races. That is the most sad thing I can possibly see in our great nation.

I love all people, I truly mean this. I believe that we all view things with different standpoints, and "hats" if you will and perspectives. We all get up daily and breathe in the same air, we all put our pants on the same way, we all love our mothers and fathers, etc...

I would love to stand with you and others to figure out how we can help this great nation of ours break down the racial tensions and divides, and finally build bridges across them.

Please let me know if you would like to speak with me on this.
