Yet one more Russiagate "bombshell" turns out to be a dud. Between today's CNN one and @lawrence's recent claim about Russian oligarchs co-signing Trump's bank loans, there's at least a little progress: they're being exposed as fraudulent at a faster pace than before.

He would be privy to the basic facts of when/why/how in this matter and went forward with this in spite of those undeniably important details. Hence, this was nothing more but another 'hit job' attempt on Trump in order to kick up dust as the democrats grasp at nothing in order to begin impeachment process.
