Image result for flickr commons images Michigan State CapitalANN ARBOR, MI – The Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners on Wednesday conveyed “strong support” for legislation in the Michigan House of Representatives that would expand civil rights protections for immigrants.
Commissioners voted unanimously on a resolution expressing support for several bills in the state legislature that were “designed to extend Michigan’s civil rights protections to all Michigan residents, regardless of an individual’s place of birth,” according to the resolution.
