  • "Early on in the pandemic, Gov. Whitmer threatened "administrative action" against doctors who used hydroxychloroquine to treat patients with CoVID-19. 
  • Then she asked for more of the drug. 
  • Then she criticized a lawmaker who praised Trump for the benefits of the drug, texting: "You’re entitled to your opinion, I’m just disappointed you’d take your theories public without seeking to get answers first. Take care,” 
  • Now, a Michigan hospital has studies showing that those treated with hydroxychloroquine had half of the fatality rate than those not treated.*

Now my friends say that Whitmer's decisions have been based on science. 
I have no reason to doubt that. 
But, this little seesaw shows the dangers of one person rule, whether based on science or some other benign standard. 
Dictatorial powers are always dangerous...
