New emails show Hunter Biden wanted $2 million for his help to unfreeze Libyan assets - TheBlaze

Newly released emails sent by Democratic donors and business contacts of Hunter Biden's reveal that the president's son wanted a $2 million retainer for his help freeing up billions of dollars in Libyan assets that were frozen by the Obama administration, Business Insider reported. The emails are not directly connected to other controversial emails from Hunter Biden's laptop regarding business dealings with Ukrainians, but they do show how Biden's status as the then-vice president's son and his connections within the Obama administration were seen as valuable by those who wanted to buy influence.

RINO asserts no vote fraud!--MUST see!-----How The California Recall Election Will Affect The Republican Party : NPR

Pretend republican/conservative Jonah Goldberg assures NPR listeners that charges of vote fraud are "dishonest...a lie".
NPR's Rachel Martin talks to conservative columnist Jonah Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Dispatch, about what the failed California recall election means for the momentum of the Republican party.
RACHEL MARTIN, HOST: ...Larry Elder was making claims of voter fraud in the days before the election. He did walk it back a little bit in his concession speech. But still, what are the implications of this line coming over and over again from the GOP?

GOLDBERG: It's suici
dal. And we even saw going into the final home stretch of the recall, Donald Trump was talking about how the system was already rigged, the election had already been stolen. It's dishonest. It's a lie. But it's also just sand-poundingly stupid politics to tell your most ardent voters there's no point in showing up because the system is already rigged against you. But the fact that this is what so many of the base of the Republican Party want to hear, even though it is not in the political self-interest of the party, is a great example of the larger dysfunction that the Republican Party has got itself caught up in.

MARTIN: The House investigation into the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol is going on right now, despite efforts by GOP leaders to undermine it. When you talk about the built-in political price that the GOP will suffer for pushing this line about voter fraud when there isn't any, what about undermining the House investigation into an attack on the U.S. Capitol? I mean, is that something that the party will pay a price for in the midterms? Or does it not move Republican voters at this point?...Read all.

On "Glenn TV" Wednesday, Glenn Beck said he's just as nervous about America's future today as he was in 2007, except this time it's not just the economy he fears is near collapse. Inflation is out of control. You feel it every time you buy anything these days. And now, even with income tax, sales tax, property tax, death tax, capital gains tax, and ESG-related tax rate increases, the taxes you're paying are no longer enough for the government. To ensure you're paying your "fair share," the Biden administration now wants to require banks to report aggregate transactions into and out of all personal and business bank accounts whose "inflows and outflows of an account total at least $600 in a year, or if the account has a fair market value of at least $600."

Joy Reid Complains About 'Missing White Women Syndrome.' So Why Won't She Ever Mention Missing Black Women?

"Joy Reid is  racist and homophobic.

Her latest, laughable attempt to prove racial bias in the media is through criticizing what she terms “missing white woman syndrome.” She claims that missing people of color don’t get the same amount of media attention as missing white women.

Reid is leaving a lot out of the equation. Yes, there is a racial aspect to which stories the press will and will not touch, but not in the way Reid wants to believe.

First, missing white women do get attention in the press, as long as their alleged attacker is white.

If the bad guy is black, the press will shut the story down.

Indeed, this is racial bias.

  • Remember Brittanee Drexel? The blonde 17-year-old girl who went missing in Myrtle Beach, SC? That can’t make the headlines, though. What would people think?
  • What about that time when blonde and blue-eyed Rachel Stephenson was abducted by Raliek Chambers? She escaped hours later. The story never made it to the mainstream media.

No, the Richest One Percent Don’t Pay 40 Percent of the Taxes.

This article is pure sophistry.
Especially the totally worthless chart below.
The rich pay far more than their "fair" share of all taxes including all the other taxes. (property/school, state, inheritance, sales, etc).
They don't drag on the system as they send their children to private schools instead of jails and social workers.
They don't fill the courts, stick hospitals with unpaid bills, shoot cops or riot in the streets.
They fund non-profits/charities, hire well-paid employees and spend money on American made products.
Demonizing the wealthy is EXACTLY what Hitler, Stalin, Chaves, Castro, Putin, Xi have done to foment hate and increase political power.
And most of today's America hating elected democrats are following in the footsteps of their socialist/communist/National Socialist comrades.
Read this drivel and realize the same is being spread to our children by our "education" system.
Educate your children!
*******************************************************************
"One of the sad constants of American political debate is that, anytime the tax rate on the rich is to be either raised or lowered, Republicans will repeat a certain statistic.
To wit, “The Stat” is that the highest-earning one percent of taxpayers pay 40 percent of all income taxes.
Conservatives consider this fact a dispositive justification either against any proposal to increase taxes on the rich, or in favor of any plan to reduce it.
Over just the past day, I have seen it circulating — here, here, here, everywhere.
...The Stat is literally true
But it is deeply misleading — so misleading, in fact, that it routinely fools even the people who are citing it into thinking it indicates something other than what it actually means.
...The actual truth about the American tax system is that it is slightly progressive.
The richest one percent earn about 21 percent of the income and pay 24 percent of the taxes:

Combine a lack of self-awareness with l ow cognitive ability and boom: You overestimate your own intelligence and competence.
As Dunning, a psychology professor at the University of Michigan, says, "if you're incompetent, you can't know you're incompetent.
The skills you need to produce the right answer are the very same skills you need to recognize the right answer."
As Bertrand Russell said, "one of the painful things about our time is that those who feel certainty are stupid, and those with any imagination and understanding are filled with doubt and indecision."
Or as my grandfather said, "the dumber you are, the more you think you know."...Read all.

Democrats Spend Big, and We Pay, for Their Socialist Dream

Democrats Spend Big, and We Pay, for Their Socialist Dream

It’s the closest thing I can think of to capture current reality in Washington, D.C., as the kids—the Democrats running the White House and Congress—throw their big party and breathlessly spend their parents’ money (in this case, our money), knowing that the party will be over when adults return.

The $3.5-plus trillion spending binge that Democrats are rushing to pass is not following a period of austerity. Record spending and debt have been piled on since the Obama years, using government to spend its way out of a government-induced economic collapse. And then we had the COVID-19 challenge and massive new government spending to get out of that.

Watch what they DO, not what that SAY!

Are we close to these questions from our "protectors"?

Portland Activists Survey Themselves and Conclude Un-Woke Cops Are to Blame for Their Riots

Portland Activists Survey Themselves and Conclude Un-Woke Cops Are to Blame for Their Riots

Results of a survey taken after the Portland riots of 2020 and 2021 have just been tallied by a cop-watch organization and the conclusion is that un-woke cops – not actual rioters, protesters, rabid communists, and looters – are the reason they were so bad.

...Yeah, about that survey …

KOIN TV reports that the suggestions come, in part, from a survey by community activists in a cop-watch group called “Portland United Against Hate.” Activists “used a crowdsourcing tool called “ReportHatePDX to gather ‘first-hand testimonials from citizens engaged in First Amendment activities over the summer of 2020.’”...

Here are a few of the other suggestions that the activists had for wrangling those pesky, riot-inducing cops:

  • Making police less scary looking by getting rid of riot gear, which conveniently also makes cops more vulnerable to injury...

Here’s the live tweet. Notice there’s no deadline mentioned for the survey...Read all.

Democrats Agree: Criticizing Our Behavior Is Racist, Sexist, Homophobic
"Democratic politicians have repeatedly argued that criticizing a Democrat's behavior just isn't something a normal, kindhearted person would ever do.
Their critics, by definition, are exclusively composed of racists, sexists, homophobes, xenophobes, white supremacists, and other bigots.
  • When several media outlets reported that Vice President Kamala Harris presided over a "toxic" work environment where "people feel treated like s—t," the VP's allies lashed out at the "gendered" criticism voiced by former Harris staffers and current Biden administration officials. Senior Democrats even suggested sexist media coverage was to blame for Harris's low approval rating.
  • BuzzFeed reported similar allegations from former staffers against Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D., Wash.), who reportedly "berated staff in front of others, demanded grueling hours, and maintained an office culture marked by constantly changing expectations and little tolerance for error." The Democratic congresswoman insisted she was the real victim. "Women of color are often unjustly targeted, regularly held to higher standards than their male colleagues, and always put under a sexist microscope," said Jayapal's chief of staff, Lilah Pomerance, who dismissed the comments from former staffers as "cherry picked" and riddled with "ugly stereotypes."
...You might be tempted to criticize these Democrats for dismissing their critics as bigots because our elected officials should not be exempt from criticism.
On the other hand, you're probably a racist...Read all.
