Claim: Teacher told students to hide ‘equity survey’ from their parents

"...A Minnesota elementary schooler claims her class was given an “equity survey” and then told by the teacher not to tell parents about it.

The Center Square reports fourth-grader Haylee Yasgar, a student in the Sartell-St. Stephen School District, said her class was instructed to answer every question on the survey, even if they didn’t understand what it was asking — like “what gender [they] identify with.”

“Being asked to hide this from my mom made me very uncomfortable, like I was doing something wrong,” Yasgar said.

Yasgar detailed her experience at a board meeting last week. Alphanews reports the equity survey was part of an $80,000 “racial inequities” audit conducted by the group Equity Alliance Minnesota....Read all.

Yasgar’s mother told Fox News she doesn’t believe this was a case of just one teacher being shifty: “We had been informed that this came down from the administration and Equity Alliance of Minnesota instructed them to make sure the children did not share this information with their parents and that should pose a great concern in any parents’ eyes.”
