What is most important about this SCOTUS decision isn't about the law as much as it is the precedent. For the past eighteen months (plus fifteen days), our government has been using the unelected bureaucrats in the CDC as an excuse to take power away from the people. All done under the guise of a public health crisis. The eviction moratorium was the first instance of the government trying to do it over something that has nothing to do with public health. The government wanted to use the CDC as the excuse to tell you what you can do with your private property while also nullifying contracts you signed. That should scare any American who shuts off CNN's 24/7 panic porn long enough.
