Soooo, getting shot by two local african-americans is good for you??------Wounded Fed Judge Remains Example of Being Positive About Detroit

Wounded Fed Judge Remains Example of Being Positive About Detroit  –  Deadline Detroit:
U.S. District Judge Terrence Berg could be a spokesman for having a good attitude about Detroit despite being the victim of a shooting outside his home in city's University District earlier this month during an attempted robbery.
"Overall, I have such a positive feeling about Detroit and where we live," he told Steve Gargiola of WDIV.
Berg, 55, who was shot in the leg, and is moving about on crutches, plans to join a march on Friday at  6 p.m. the Gesu Catholic Church a 117180 Oak Dr, Detroit.
He said the march will be about being positive about Detroit and speaking out against violence.
He was shot March 5 outside his home after he refused to let two (BLACK) robbers into his home where his wife and child were.

Wife of Soldier Paralyzed While Looking For Bowe Bergdahl Asks Barack Obama THIS Question - Young Conservatives

Wife of Soldier Paralyzed While Looking For Bowe Bergdahl Asks Barack Obama THIS Question - Young Conservatives:

"Remember the lives lost and destroyed while looking for a man Susan Rice claimed served “with honor and distinction.” Remember them as Jen Psaki defends the administration’s actions to get Bergdahl, saying that it was “absolutely” worth it as she did in an interview with Megyn Kelly on Fox News’ “The Kelly File.”

From the administration’s standpoint- it was worth losing at least six soldiers, having at least one paralyzed, and trading five Taliban soldiers for what amounts to be a traitor.

What a despicable man Barack Obama is."

Selective outrage. It's what they do------Libs Silent as Obama Golfs with Halliburton Director

Libs Silent as Obama Golfs with Halliburton Director | The Gateway Pundit
..Even with the Associated Press’ unusually forthright headline in its brief report on Obama’s Palm Sunday golf outing, Obama Golfs With Big Money, Oil Moguls in Florida, and the dropping of a helpful reminder about Halliburton’s ties to Cheney, there was not a peep of outrage from the perpetually outraged left.
“…Obama was joined for his round of golf Sunday by Jim Crane, who owns the Floridian. Crane is a major Democratic donor who also owns the Houston Astros and golfed with Obama and Tiger Woods in 2013. He’s also a major player in the Texas energy industry.
“Also in Obama’s foursome is Milton Carroll.
He’s on the board of directors of Halliburton, the oil company closely associated with former Republican Vice President Dick Cheney.
“Private equity investor Glenn Hutchins rounds out the president’s group. He’s a partial owner of the Boston Celtics.”

Good grief!------Students who built teepee for art class called offensive; outcry prompts its removal

Students who built teepee for art class called offensive; outcry prompts its removal
Students at Santa Barbara City College who built a large, colorful teepee for their art class have been denounced as offensive and ignorant by some students on campus, clamor that ultimately prompted the structure to be removed.
The students are enrolled in the school’s “4-D Art, Time-Based Media” class, which “explores issues and practices of … interactive and chance-derived work, installation, performance, video, sound and digital media,” according to the course description.campus!”...
But the structure was denounced by some American Indian students, who said they viewed the teepee as offensive and culturally insensitive.
“I think it’s very insensitive of the history that was done to Native Americans.
I believe that SBCC faculty condones this type of behavior,” an anonymous student told Native News Online
“We constantly have to live with disrespect.
Since I was attending the ‘number one community college’ I would have the right to be free of stereotypes. This is an act of superiority for non-Native students and I will not and am not okay with it.”

Read it all and wonder how your employer might react to this----Proposal 1's passage would trigger these 10 laws

Proposal 1's passage would trigger these 10 laws

Here are the details on the 10 pieces of legislation that would take effect if Proposal 1 is passed on May 5.

Proposal 1 consists of only 100 words. But if approved by voters on May 5, it would trigger into law thousands of other words in 10 bills passed by the Legislature in December.
What they do: The sale of regular and diesel fuels would be exempt from the state sales tax and use tax, which would increase to 7% from 6% for other taxed items, under these two bills.
The details:
■ HB 4539 amends the General Sales Tax Act. HB 5492 is similar, but it deals with the use tax, which applies to transactions on which sales tax is not charged, such as out-of-state, mail and Internet purchases.
■ HB 5492 would dedicate 12.3% of the first 5% of the use tax — about $151 million in 2015-16 — to the School Aid Fund. The other 2% already goes to the School Aid Fund.
Estimated costs and revenue: The House Fiscal Agency estimates that removing the sales tax from fuel sales would result in a loss of revenue of $653.6 million in the 2016 fiscal year, with most of that loss, $479.3 million, hitting the School Aid Fund.
Hiking the sales tax and use tax to 7% on sales of other items would raise an extra $1.5 billion in 2016, with about $772 million of that going to the School Aid Fund...

Guess Who’s Golfing With Former Sports Stars on a Weekend Florida Getaway | Video | TheBlaze.com:
"During his stay at the Floridian National Golf Club, less than 50 miles up the coast from Palm Beach, Obama planned to be out of public view, with no official events scheduled. After arriving midday Saturday, he immediately hit the links with Mourning, Rashad and Cyrus Walker, a cousin of Obama’s senior adviser Valerie Jarrett, the White House said.

Two years ago, Obama caused a stir at this lush, coastal golf resort when he played 18 holes with golf legend Tiger Woods and practiced with Woods’ former swing coach. Word that Obama was teeing up with Woods initially came from a professional sports journalist who was on the course and tweeted about it, even though the White House had prohibited the traveling press corps from observing Obama while golfing."

Rewarding "friends" with your tax dollars-----Wisconsin DPI spent $264,000 on classified ads for jobs

Wisconsin DPI spent $264,000 on classified ads for jobs - EAGnews.org:
"MADISON, Wis. – The state Department of Public Instruction spent $264,000 on two annual contracts with a company that posts classified ads online for teaching jobs.
This despite two websites already run by state government – at no cost to users – that connect job seekers (including educators) with Wisconsin employers.
According to invoices obtained from DPI, the department entered into contracts in 2013 and 2014 with Teachers-Teachers.com Inc., a private firm that runs a website connecting teachers looking for work with school districts looking for teachers.
The hefty annual fee – $132,000 – paid by DPI was non-refundable according to paperwork that accompanied the invoices.
..But DPI has developed a habit of spending money on items that may not be completely necessary. Last November, Media Trackers noted that DPI spent nearly $300,000 on trips to Wisconsin Dells waterparks...

"Beth Anderson earns extra income renting out her womb to infertile couples who dream of becoming parents—a mutually beneficial arrangement, as she sees it.
"I really, really like being pregnant," she says.

Michelle Obama Caught Spending $80,000 Of YOUR Money On THIS!

Michelle Obama Caught Spending $80,000 Of YOUR Money On THIS -:
"There’s nothing that the first lady loves more than spending Americans’ hard earned tax dollars on her own lavish lifestyle.
A few days ago, Michelle travelled to the Kiyomizu-Dera Buddhist Temple and the Fushimi Inari Shinto Shrine in Kyoto, Japan, and these visits did not come cheap.
Reports reveal that Michelle spent $78,741 on rental cars for this visit alone.
This isn’t the first time Michelle Obama has spent tons of American money on herself, and it won’t be the last.
“The first family, Michelle Obama fresh from her annual Aspen ski vacation with her daughters, and President Obama back from a weekend of golf in sunny Palm Springs, Calif., have spent tens of millions in tax dollars to vacation, and they still have two more years to go, according to an accounting of their trips,” Paul Bedard wrote on March 7.
“As the first lady readies for a trip to Japan and Cambodia this month, Secrets calculated that the first family has racked up 38 holidays, working vacations, and fun trips like a date night in New York,” he added. “They are on par to take at least 45 holidays before leaving office.”"
