University professor says heterosexuality is 'tragic' and causes all sorts of societal problems for men and women - TheBlaze

A professor at the University of California-Riverside says that heterosexuality is a "tragic" concept that perpetuates misogyny, funnels men into supporting toxic masculinity, and breaks up relationships.

Colorado residents seek to secede to join Wyoming, citing shift in state's priorities | OutThere Colorado
"Dubbed "Weld County, Wyoming," a group has popped up with the goal of getting an initiative added to their county's November 2021 ballot that would "instruct Weld County Commissioners to engage and explore the annexation of Weld County with the State of Wyoming's Legislature."
Located in northeast Colorado, Weld County is one of Colorado's top agricultural counties, with members of the group citing a shift in Colorado's priorities away from this industry, as well as oil, gas, and gun rights, as a reason for their proposal.
If the proposal is eventually included on the November ballot and the initiative passes, the Colorado legislature and the Wyoming legislature would have to approve it, along with possible approval from Colorado voters and Congress required, according the Mayor of Erie, Colorado.
Weld County has an estimated population (2019) of around 325,000 residents while Wyoming has an estimated population (2019) of around 579,000 residents statewide.
Weld County joining the state would mean a huge uptick in population and a big shift in population distribution.

Newsom's sudden lockdown lift BACKFIRES, further fuels 'Recall Gavin' campaign - TheBlaze
"I think it's become very obvious that this all was about politics. This all was about destroying Trump and crushing the economy enough so people would be frustrated and blame everything on Trump even though Trump handed the power to the governors — you know, the 'authoritarian Hitler guy' who was actually letting the governors do what they thought was best," Dave said on "The Rubin Report" this week. "And I don't think Newsom or [Gov. Andrew] Cuomo or any of these guys who have locked down their states and destroyed countless amounts of lives have any bit of guilt or remorse or anything. They've done truly, truly terrible things."

Sen. Paul's Cage Match With Stephanopoulos Is A Pattern For The Right

Sen. Paul's Cage Match With Stephanopoulos Is A Pattern For The Right

Rand Paul’s patience ran out this week when he made an appearance on ABC with George Stephanopoulos and the latter exchanged journalistic inquiry for partisan hackery. The ensuing fight, however, was a case study in what the media has become and how all conservatives who hit the airwaves ought to take them on.

Rather than pose legitimate questions to the Kentucky senator, Stephanopoulos, who made his money as a Clinton-era Democratic operative before jumping over to the world of “objective journalism,” assumed one of the corporate media’s favorite stances. Let’s call it “media antagonism.”

Hans von Spakovsky: H.R. 1 Would Make All Voter ID Laws Unenforceable

"...Von Spakovsky said, “Everyone needs to oppose the push in Congress to pass their first bill. It’s S.1 on the Senate side, H.R. 1 on the House side. … It’s an 800-page monstrosity that would lead to the federal takeover of the running of elections.”

“If this bill passes, it puts in all these terrible provisions,” von Spakovsky added. “It’s a federal micromanagement of the election process, and everything that folks on the left want to reduce the integrity [and] the security of the election process is in there.”

Von Spakovsky added, “If you’re a state like Alabama or Texas that has a voter ID law, you might as well forget it, because this federal law would override all state voter ID laws so they’re now unenforceable.”

LISTEN:

...“Why are they doing that?” von Spakovsky asked. “There’s only one reason, and that’s to make it easier to cheat.”...Read all.

Eat your way out of prison?-----Howie Carr: Fat chance! Obese cons in line for early release in new bill

Howie Carr: Fat chance! Obese cons in line for early release in new bill
"Rep. Ayanna Pressley just doesn’t want to make sure no murderers are executed, she’s also pushing the immediate release of all … fat prisoners.
Yes, it’s right there, in what she proudly calls the “landmark Dismantle Mass Incarceration for Public Health Act” which she filed last year with fellow squad member Rep. Rashida Tlaib and California Rep. Barbara Lee.
It would “require States and units of local government to certify a commitment to release certain individuals from jails and prisons,” including those who are “diagnosed with obesity.”
Would this have included the pleasingly plump Boston Mafia boss Carmen “the Cheeseman” DiNunzio, who probably still tips the scales at 400-plus pounds?
...As Pressley blubbered in her press release, the panic “is claiming the lives of our most vulnerable.”
Jailbirds are now our most vulnerable.
Gov. Charlie Baker certainly agrees.
That’s why he wanted Mass. convicts inoculated before the elderly.
Cons must be “decarcerated” ASAP...Read all.

‘Jeopardy!’ contestants spark backlash after all three fail to recognize Dave Chappelle
"On Wednesday’s “Jeopardy!,” contestants easily answered trivia questions about comedians Kevin Hart, Will Ferrell, Kenan Thompson, and Rebel Wilson.
However, when it came to simply identifying one of the most iconic comedians of the past 20 years, they failed miserably.
Under the category of “Funny Business,” the contestants were shown a picture of Dave Chappelle and given the clue, “This comedian displayed his drama chops in “A Star Is Born,” playing Bradley Cooper’s longtime friend.”
None of the contestants even attempted to answer the seemingly simple question, and viewers at home were shocked.
Twitter erupted as confused and shocked fans voiced their displeasure in the contestants inability to recognize the iconic comedian."

Rule by Decree: Joe Biden Sets Record for Executive Orders in First Week

President Joe Biden has issued more executive orders in his first week in office — not yet complete, as of this writing — than any of his 45 predecessors.

As of January 25, 2021, Biden has “issued 33 executive orders, actions, proclamations, memoranda and agency directives,” according to CNN. Twenty-one of these, according to the White House website, are executive orders.

"...they cannot even pass their sophomore year without paying out for FOUR social justice courses..."

Event: Social Justice Education in Idaho by National Association of Scholars | NAS
"The Idaho Freedom Foundation has published a new report, Social Justice Ideology in Idaho Higher Education.
It details how social justice ideology has worked its way into the goals of college administrators, into the policies, the curriculum and even the daily lives of students at Idaho's colleges and universities.
..."Justice," according to these advocates means whatever they say it means:
  • today it means we must discriminate in employment and admissions by race and ideology;
  • tomorrow it means we must encourage the segregation of students by race and sex to "build community."
This report details how the state's universities have adopted the rules of social justice ideology and required others on campus to comply with them.
Students can graduate without ever taking a class in American history, civics, or literature, but they cannot even pass their sophomore year without paying out for four social justice courses.

Fact-check the fact-checkers?-----Narrative Before Facts | City Journal

Narrative Before Facts | City Journal
  • When will the media acknowledge their role in spreading false and inflammatory stories about police shootings?
When officer Rusten Sheskey shot Jacob Blake seven times in the back last year, the media wasted no time establishing the standard narrative: another unarmed African-American shot by racist police.
  • In a CNN segment on August 25, anchor Jake Tapper said, “Video shows police shoot unarmed black man.” The Washington Post, CNN, PBS, Buzzfeed, Vogue, and several other outlets referred to Blake as “unarmed.” The day after the shooting, David A. Graham, a staff writer at The Atlantic, asserted, “It’s nearly impossible to imagine any way that his shooting was justified.”
  • Democratic politicians and celebrities jumped on the story, too. Joe Biden tweeted, “Once again, a Black man—Jacob Blake—was shot by the police. In front of his children. It makes me sick. Is this the country we want to be?” Kamala Harris declared that “the life of a black person in America has never been treated as fully human.” Naomi Osaka, the highest-paid female athlete in the world, tweeted to her more than 800,000 followers condemnation of the “continued genocide of Black people at the hand of the police.”
But as Blake himself admitted in a television interview with ABC News last week, he was not unarmed. “I realized I had dropped my knife, I had a little pocketknife, so I picked it up,” Blake told Michael Strahan on Good Morning America. More critically, Blake admitted his actions at the time were wrong: “I shouldn’t have picked it up . . . considering what was going on. . . . At that time I wasn’t thinking clearly.”
Blake’s astonishing admission came days after Kenosha County District Attorney Mike Graveley announced that his office would not charge Officer Sheskey, based on the results of an investigation by former Madison police chief Noble Wray.
...The most damning detail in this story, however, is that the victim himself, Blake, has expressed more honesty and remorse for his actions than the media and political elites who pushed an inflammatory, racialized narrative before all the facts were in...Read all.

Marjorie Taylor Greene reportedly endorsed executing Democrats on Facebook before she was elected to Congress. - The New York Times
"Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a first-term Georgia Republican, repeatedly endorsed executing top Democratic politicians on social media before she was elected to Congress, including telling a follower who asked if they could hang former President Barack Obama that the “stage is being set.”
A review of Ms. Greene’s social media accounts, first reported by CNN, found that she repeatedly liked posts on Facebook that discussed the prospect of violence against Democratic lawmakers and employees of the federal government.
