Wall Street shrugs at Washington’s debt pileup
  • The debt poses no imminent danger to U.S. finances, economists say, so the more pressing concern should be jump-starting the economy. (meaning more free money to the swamp billionaires)
"...But investors in the federal debt, a wide range of market-focused economists and officials in the Biden administration have a firm response: Don’t worry about it right now.
The debt poses no imminent danger to U.S. finances, they say, so the more pressing concern should be jump-starting the economy to avoid the type of sluggish recovery that persisted for years following the Great Recession.
“Without further action (meaning trillions to their insider unions and political cronies), we risk a longer, more painful recession now — and long-term scarring of the economy later,” Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen told senators last week at her confirmation hearing...Read all.

LA County puts new restriction on restaurants ahead of Super Bowl: TVs must be turned off - TheBlaze

California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom lifted his stay-at-home lockdown order last week, allowing businesses deemed "nonessential" by the government, including restaurants and salons, to resume some in-person operations with safety precautions in place.  However, Los Angeles County public health officials have already enacted a new restriction that has many people scratching their heads: no TVs on at restaurants.

Cuomo lashes out on NY nursing home report on covid deaths - TheBlaze

New York state Democratic Attorney General Letitia James dropped a bombshell report on Thursday alleging that the number of coronavirus-related deaths at nursing homes in New York could be undercounted by as much as 50%. When New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) was pressed about the accuracy of the state's nursing home deaths, he lashed out with a response that the New York Post called "callous."

Brian Stelter: It's Not Censorship, It's Harm Reduction - Victory Girls Blog
"...On his inaptly named Sunday morning program “Reliable Sources,” Stelter used his monologue to lambaste conservatives whom he asserts are promoting “dishonest cries of censorship” as he called it. He pointed fingers at Fox News and Tucker Carlson in particular.
“Democrats win elections and then Republicans say they are being silenced,” said Stelter.
But Tater isn’t the only liberal mouthpiece who wants to see Fox silenced.
  • Margaret Sullivan of the Washington Post suggested that “corporations that advertise on Fox News should walk away.” That’s because, she says, Fox is partly responsible for 400,000 COVID deaths, as well as that Capitol riot on January 6. Something like that.
  • Nicholas Kristof of the New York Times also called for “pressure on advertisers to withdraw from Fox News so long as it functions as an extremist madrasa.”
  • Plus, Axios and Politifact would love to see a return to the Fairness Doctrine — dormant since the 1980’s — when the Federal Government enforced speech rules.
So Brian Stelter said that we need to control the spread of disinformation.
But don’t call it censorship.
Or even cancel culture.
Rather, call it “harm reduction.”...Read all.

Fearmongering headline makes no mention of "cause of death" or comorbidities. More fake news? Likely yes.-----Nine Catholic nuns dead from COVID-19 at Michigan religious center

Nine Catholic nuns dead from COVID-19 at Michigan religious center
"Until Dec. 20, there wasn't a single nun at the Adrian Dominican Sisters who had tested positive for the novel coronavirus in several months. (because none had been tested)
But over the past month, a COVID-19 outbreak that has ripped through the Catholic center in Adrian, Michigan, has infected 107 people, with 47 sisters testing positive, about 1 out of every 5 sisters at the center.
Nine of the religious sisters died of COVID-19 over just the past two weeks, officials said Friday.
In addition to the 47 sisters, 60 co-workers at the center have tested positive.
The nine retired nuns who died ranged in age from 79 to 97 and were residing at the Catholic center 90 miles southwest of Detroit...Read all.

CLARK: Joe Biden's Immigration Plan Will Impact Communities Far from Border

When we think of illegal immigration and its impact on America, opinions are sharply divided. The images invoked are “kids in cages,” large caravans, border rescues, and wild border chases between law enforcement and illegal immigrant smugglers.

The U.S. southern border is just a waypoint for migrants along a much larger journey. One that usually ends far from the deserts of Arizona, the brush country in Texas, or the beaches and mountains near San Diego.

  • "Logical thinkers take in information first, make a decision and then think about how they feel about their decision. These are the people who read the labels before they buy.
  • Emotional thinkers first think about how they feel about something, make a decision and then look for information that supports their feelings about their decision. These are the people for whom the impulse buy displays at check out lanes are designed.
Trump voters mostly fit the former, Biden voters the latter.
Trump voters discounted the package and were concerned with the contents (the policies), Biden voters went for the clever packaging and only now that they have opened the package are seeing what was inside.
You can probably deduce which group is more likely to experience buyers remorse.
You can also deduce this group is the least likely to admit it."

Systemic Contingencies - They All Knew - Lessons From Spygate About Severity of DC Corruption - The Last RefugeThe Last Refuge
"To expand on the awakening…. and based on a recent call for clarity… here are some brutally obvious points about DC that connect through the stop-Trump operation commonly known as “spygate”.
Robert Mueller had two goals as special counsel.
  • Goal #1 was to continue the fraudulent DOJ/FBI “Stop Trump” operation initiated by James Comey, Andrew McCabe and their crew technically named Crossfire Hurricane.
  • Goal #2 was to bury the illegal action; to create the cover-up needed for everything that took place in the “Stop Trump” operation.

It is the second goal that most people never reconciled; however, it is also that second goal that’s the most important.
  • Everyone in DC knew Mueller’s objective.
  • Every person in every branch of government and every federal agency knew Mueller’s real purpose.
When you accept what Mueller’s objective was, I mean really accept it, then and only then can you move to the second part of that awakening.
  • Everyone else knew exactly what that purpose was, including AG Bill Barr and OIG Michael Horowitz. They all knew...Read all!

You Will Be Made to Believe Implausible Things - American Thinker--By Clarice Feldman

"In George Orwell’s masterpiece 1984, he said, “The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”

To guide you along this path, I bring to your attention implausible things you are expected to believe this week.

  1. Things that are not graft.

Outrageously generous book deals to present and former officials.

The Obamas’ $65 million book advances still lead the way to the most lavish, though the notion that even Democrat politicians’ relatives, like Chelsea Clinton, would offer ghostwritten pap worth anything is something you just have to believe.

Generous speaking fees.

The $25 million the Clintons garnered for just six months of speeches in 2014 and 2015, you must regard not as bribes for access and influence, but as well-earned compensation for minutes worth of pearls of wisdom...

Charitable Shakedowns.

You must ignore the suggestion that plea bargains in which the government gives a settlement payment to a bureaucrat’s favorite nonprofit constitutes anything unethical...Read all!!!

At a 2018 rally, Waters encouraged her supporters to harass officials in the Trump administration over Trump’s immigration policies.
