Zurawik: 'We Are Headed to Hell' If Congress Doesn't Regulate Musk | Newsbusters

Zurawik: 'We Are Headed to Hell' If Congress Doesn't Regulate Musk | Newsbusters link
"On Sunday’s episode of CNN’s Reliable Sources, media analyst and rabid leftist David Zurawik claimed that Congress needs to step in to regulate social media platforms now that free speech advocate Elon Musk has bought Twitter.
  • “...There's a bigger problem here about how we are going to control the channels of communication in this country.
  • ...Becoming more and more unhinged, Zurawik cried: “This is dangerous. We can't think anymore in this country.” This caused host Brian Stelter to audibly laugh.
  • ...Ending his rage-filled tirade Zurawik whined: “You cannot let these guys control discourse in this country or we are headed to hell. We are there. Trump opened the gates of hell and now they're chasing us down.”
To leftists like David Zurawik, letting people with opposing views speak openly is tantamount to being in “hell.”
This shows how detached from reality they truly are..."

Gaetz Highlights Troops Fighting Biden's DOD Vaccine Mandate

Gaetz Highlights Troops Fighting Biden's DOD Vaccine Mandate

Gaetz said that at a recent event in his district, which has the highest concentration of active duty military members in the country, a number of service members expressed frustration to him about the mandate.

“It is a purposeful Biden purge of our military,” Gaetz said Thursday on his podcast Firebrand.

Despite a broad reduction of pandemic-related restrictions by cities and businesses across the country, and despite the low number of service member deaths due to the coronavirus, the Biden administration is insisting that troops continue to get vaccinated or face discharge.

They all use the same tactics!-----A chilling comparison - American Thinker

A chilling comparison - American Thinker  By Thomas Lifson  link
"Rabbi Michael Barclay began his article at PJ Media Saturday with this scenario, that grabbed my attention:
A criminal is wrongfully killed, and “peaceful demonstrations,” which are actually violent riots, break out nationwide. The flag of a radical and violent group is placed next to the national flag on government buildings. Out of fear of being canceled and losing business, individuals and corporations succumb to publicly supporting this violent organization...A President overreaches and takes on “emergency powers,” which create an authoritarian regime that demands supportive behavior and calls any criticism “disinformation.” A new agency of the government is created to “fight this disinformation”… an agency that even has access to armed personnel...
  • Obviously, this sounds like a narrative of America since George Floyd’s death in police custody in Minneapolis.
  • But Rabbi Barclay explains that it is actually a narrative of the development of the Nazi regime in Germany, where Horst Wessel’s death was used the same way career criminal George Floyd’s was.
He explains this more completely in his essay, which I urge you to read in full..."

"The George Washington University Student Association Senate unanimously passed a resolution last week which calls on school officials to suspend the campus chapter of the Young America’s Foundation for alleged “transphobic” tweets.
According to The Hatchet, the SAS approved the “No Place for Hate Act” on Monday which says a series of YAF tweets were “hateful,” and demands the campus Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion “conduct trainings” with the conservative group to ensure it “understand[s] why [its] statements were wrong.”
The allegedly hateful/transphobic tweets in question include:
“oh the pro-pedo libs are gonna LOVE this one”
— “we aren’t the ones advocating for the grooming and sexualization of children …”
— “The statement that pedophiles shouldn’t be teaching in schools should not be controversial, it’s common sense.”

Biden’s New Disinformation Governance Board Is ALREADY Expanding Its Scope link
"...But in this case, the expansion makes the agency in question even more dangerous
to the American people than it was already.
  • When Politico revealed the existence of the Board in an offhanded statement buried 60 paragraphs down in its Wednesday “Politico Playbook,” it said that the Department of Homeland Security was “standing up a new Disinformation Governance Board to coordinate countering misinformation related to homeland security, focused specifically on irregular migration and Russia.”
  • DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, however, went farther than that almost immediately, saying on Thursday: “We have just established a mis- and disinformation governance board in the Department of Homeland Security to more effectively combat this threat not only to election security, but to our homeland security.”
  • And when Jen Psaki defended Biden’s new Ministry of Truth on Thursday, she went farther still: “We know there has been a range of [disinformation] out there about a range of topics, I mean, including COVID for example, and also elections and eligibility.”..."

Jill Biden book sales embarrassingly low - TheBlaze

Based on book sales, readers are apparently not interested in paying $26 to "better understand" the personality of Jill Biden. Twitter reactions to the disappointing book sales had many commentators asking how the first lady to the most popular president in U.S. history could have such pathetic sales numbers. President Joe Biden set a new record with 81,284,000 votes in the 2020 election. Columnist Tim Young pointed out, "81 million votes, but Jill Biden's new biography only sold 250 total copies in 1 week."

Michigan Schools DEI Director Wants Affinity Spaces With No White People Allowed

This, Matt Morales said, was “equity work in creating a more inclusive learning community.”
Morales said he wrote the post to explain his efforts to set up affinity spaces, or areas where people who share certain characteristics can meet.
His memo stated that an affinity space for Black people had already been created..."

Republicans vow to fight Biden's Disinformation Governance Board - TheBlaze

The Department of Homeland Security announced that it had created a new government entity to tackle online disinformation – especially on key topics of elections, COVID-19, the war in Ukraine, and the immigration crisis at the U.S. southern border.

However, Republicans fear that the new board will attempt to stifle free speech. Several GOP politicians immediately railed against President Joe Biden's Disinformation Governance Board, some have vowed to dismantle the entity.

Leftist loons go nuts over free speech! Embarassingly so!

World to run out of food in 27 years and 248 Days! - American Thinker

World to run out of food in 27 years and 248 Days! - American Thinker
"According to a report in the U.K. tabloid the Daily Star, some scientists are now predicting that the world will run out of food in 27 years.
Twenty-seven years and 251 days, to be more precise...as of Sunday, April 24, 2022. (Start your doomsday countdown at home!)
So that's it — the science is settled, apparently.
We are done by 2050.
..."Sociobiologist" Edward Wilson (known professionally as E.O. Wilson) is quoted in the report saying, "There are limits to Earth's capacity to feed humanity. Even if everyone on the planet agreed to become vegetarian, the world's farmland could not support the need. The world population will be too big to feed itself..."

Serf or Slave? The Tax Man Cometh - Intellectual Takeout

Serf or Slave? The Tax Man Cometh - Intellectual Takeout  link
  • On April 13th I sent a whopping check to the federal government and a lesser one to the government of Virginia. The total of these two checks equaled about 25 percent of my income.
  • Throw in sales tax on food and goods, the tax on gasoline and heating fuel, the property tax I pay through my rent to my landlord, sundry other taxes, and the money I now pay annually for a business license—yep, you read that right, a guy sitting at the dining room table tapping a keyboard is a business—and I’m guessing I pay 35-40 percent of my money to local, state, and federal government.
  • Throw in the hidden tax of inflation, which has risen now to staggering levels, and I’m probably waving goodbye to 50 percent of my earnings.
  • That’s interesting, because as several online commentators point out, a medieval serf paid his lord between 25 percent and 33 percent in labor or in crops. Most of us, particularly those in the dwindling middle class, shell out more than did those European peasants to their masters through the many hidden taxes that Americans pay...

From 2013. It's worse today!

On top of the $14 billion already appropriated for Ukraine assistance, Joe Biden is now asking for a supplemental budget allocation of an additional $33 billion for Ukraine.

Proposal to memorialize Anthony Huber, man killed by Kyle Rittenhouse, tabled after meeting chaos
  • A public meeting in Kenosha, Wis., descended into chaos Monday night as one resident accused the parks commission of quietly trying to approve a proposal to memorialize one of the two men killed by Kyle Rittenhouse in 2020.
